Amazon Prime Issues Apology to Arne Slot Over Referee Claims

There were rumors everywhere on the internet regarding Arne Slot. The report claims that the Liverpool manager was spotted entering the referee’s dressing room. This report and Allegation was made by presenter Dan Walker during their narrow escape against Liverpool which ended in a 3-3 draw. This allegation made Amazon Prime publicly apologize to the Dutchman.

Seeing all of that, amazon had to make a public apology to Slot stating that the incident resulted from a “production misunderstanding” which they acted swiftly and issued an apology to both Slot and Liverpool.

With this apology from Amazon, it shows that they admit the false claim and they understand the sensitivity of such claims in modern football. We all know that some of the decisions made by the referee in the match between Newcastle and Liverpool have been under intense scrutiny and adding any false information to that can jeopardise the referee’s career as well as create a serious problem for Liverpool. We all know that Arne Slot is a professional and has been a model of professionalism during Liverpool’s remarkable season.

Newcastle needed that win badly as we can see that towards the end of the game when they were on the counter and the game was stopped. The club has been unable to win their last 3 matches in all competitions so far. One can see how they needed that win badly.
