What Arteta Said

As in ,Arteta even made some statement that made us surprise of how sure he is with what he said:

“Last year we scored the most goals in the history of this football club, not because of only set pieces, but because of a lot of things that we have,” Arteta said. “We want to create individual and magic moments. A lot of players can create their own goals, and we can score from counters, build-ups, restarts—every phase of play.”

Arteta also rejected Amorim’s claims about corner-focused tactics, explaining how Arsenal’s inverted wingers create multiple options in attack. “We play with inverted wingers. They develop a lot inside, so there’s not a lot of space there. When they leave, space opens for the full-back, the six, or the nine, or we can go wide,” he explained. “We analyze every angle to exploit the opposition’s weaknesses.”
